My life through my Scrapbooking Layouts

I've scrapped!!

Finally......I have some more layouts to share.

I went on a retreat on the weekend and did 7 layouts....two of them aren't quite finished as I want to add a couple of extra touches, but here's 5 to show you....

Gorgeous Kaisercraft rosette and paper blooms.

Rosette flowers (made with the Sizzix Rosette die) and finished off with paper roses.

The three large black flowers are hand made - a great technique, dampening the petals, rolling them back slightly on the end of a paintbrush and before removing the brush, you pinch the petal together slightly and stack the 5 petals together.  They look like apple blossoms!  Pierce the flower through the centre and add the paper rose to finish off. Just gorgeous aren't they!

Some more handmade flowers intermingled with paper flowers.  I love this Basic Grey paper.

Rosette flowers mixed with paper roses and silk flowers.

I just love using flowers and making my pages very dimensional and lumpy bumpy.  There's lots of different flowers here.....rosette flowers, silk flowers, paper flowers, handmade paper flowers that we made in one of the classes by spraying with water and squashing them up into a tight ball, then unraffling them and stacking them on top of each other gathering them up and pinching them to a nice natural flower shape.

I've just noticed that a couple of these layouts need some journalling....oops.....better fix that.

I have another couple of layouts ready but I won't post them just yet and they are for a couple of classes that I am teaching at my Retreat in May at Kilcoy.   Only 6 weeks to go.

Hello
I am still here!!  I have some new layouts to post but I have been a tad busy with life in general and I haven't been doing a lot of scrapping, however, that is going to change!!
I will take some photos in the next day or so and pop them up on the blog.
