Hello
I have a couple of class layouts to share, one with a single photo and the other with 3 photos. I love using my dies and I must say I have a few in my collection from Spellbinders, Memory Box, Sizzix, Sullivans, Cuttlebug to name a few....I would say that my favorite at the moment are Memory Box - their dies are so delicate...just gorgeous and so many beautiful designs to choose from.
Anyway, here are my layouts......
I like to make my own fabric buttons and add them to my layouts....these seem to work perfectly with the papers and theme.
I also like to make by own flowers and love using lace. I made the frilled lace flower by using the simple running stitch through the seam binding and pulling it together to form a circle - I added a silk flower on top and put kindy glitz in the centre.....perfect.

Scrappin' layouts a plenty.....
I sneaked off to a retreat last weekend up at Mapelton - it was so good to be able to get some layouts done - 21 in all...I was very pleased.
I managed to get the kid's primary school class photos done - I cheated a little and did each year's page the same for both of them. I've still got to add a couple of embellishments to some of them and will do that tomorrow at my crop night and then take some photos and post on the blog .
My new order for Memory Box dies arrived last week and I used a few of them at the retreat - I just love these dies - they are my absolute favourite at the moment....so delicate and some beautiful designs. Check them out at www.memoryboxco.com
Here are some of the layouts that I did at the retreat.....

Class page
Hello again
I have another page to share....this time another one of my son's wedding......a layout that I created for a recent class that I taught to a group of very enthusiastic ladies - I got some great feedback from them and hope to be able to see them all again soon for another class....
Here is the layout that we did....
I used the grey cardstock as the background and dry brushed it with Winsor & Newton Iridescent Medium. This product leaves a gorgeous shimmer to anything that you apply it to - I'm not sure if you are going to be able to see it around the border but I also applied it to the Spellbinders flower and also the lettering on the tag. A bottle costs about $12 but it lasts forever!! Even after using it in the class with a dozen ladies, it has hardly made a dent in the bottle. Try it....you will just love it.
The two patterned paper are the Kaisercraft After Five range being Waltz & Tuxedo. I used the "plainer" side of the Waltz paper to make the artisan shape - it has a faint pattern on it but I didn't want to use the busier side as the Tuxedo paper is certainly that.
The pearl flourish is one that we made with the Bazzill Jewel Flourish template - these templates are fantastic - we all have lots of adhesive pearls and rhinestones in our stash and some of the pre-made flourishes, while beautiful, can be a bit expensive to use on our layouts...so why not purchase yourself a Bazzill template and make your own. There are two templates in each pack and a few designs available that you can custom create your own flourishes using all or part of the design - there's no struggling with trying to stick a pre-made flourish on to your page (and everything else) and no sticky clear tape shows through either - just pure bling!! I do have these available for $12.95 a set (plus postage) - if you wish to purchase a set, please email me at amealin@optusnet.com.au and we can arrange it. This is what they look like:-
The adhesive pearls are from Flourish with a Bling and are great value as they contain 100 pearls/rhinestones per pack. We had a few left over by the time we finished this page so they certainly went a long way.
The layout has some gorgeous cotton lace and some more bling in the way of the Kaisercraft pearl brad and the triple pearl pin at the back of the hearts. All in all I was quite happy with the layout.
Thanks for looking, Ann :-)

the top of the 6x4 photo. The cost for the class is $14.50 which includes kit
and morning/afternoon tea. If you can let me know when you would like to
come along asap, it would be appreciated. You can either call me on 0413 21 6096, or email me at amealin@optusnet.com.au for more information.

I've scrapped!!
Finally......I have some more layouts to share.
I went on a retreat on the weekend and did 7 layouts....two of them aren't quite finished as I want to add a couple of extra touches, but here's 5 to show you....
I just love using flowers and making my pages very dimensional and lumpy bumpy. There's lots of different flowers here.....rosette flowers, silk flowers, paper flowers, handmade paper flowers that we made in one of the classes by spraying with water and squashing them up into a tight ball, then unraffling them and stacking them on top of each other gathering them up and pinching them to a nice natural flower shape.
I've just noticed that a couple of these layouts need some journalling....oops.....better fix that.
I have another couple of layouts ready but I won't post them just yet and they are for a couple of classes that I am teaching at my Retreat in May at Kilcoy. Only 6 weeks to go.
